a mail-based wiki written in Perl that can use GnuPG for authorization checking
written in the first half of the year 2002

A project initiated by Reyk Flöter and Sebastian Horzela (not to forget Heiko Rother, who contributed some ideas), than "overtaken" and extensively modified by me. Have a look at the changelog of my latest release.

Meanwhile Jann Fischer changed several aspects of mwiki in his own branch; such as support for multi-level sections, separation of section configuration and account definition, an automatically created sitemap, and so on. Have a look at his own temporary mwiki page for a more detailed list of the new features. (In case the previous link died meanwhile: a local copy of Jann's temporary mwiki homepage.) (In my humble opinion the multi-level sections are a little bit confusing, but the separation of section and account configuration as well as the sitemap are really quite nice novelties.)

The homepage of the Leitstelle 511 - CCC ERFA-Kreis Hannover is running Jann's version of mwiki now, but unfortunately there is not much content in that mwiki anymore. Examples of various skins are not online anymore neither.

Be aware I read Advanced Perl Programming by Sriram Srinivasan just before I redesigned mwiki. ;)
